Michael Dante DiMartino is an American animator best known for co-creating, executive producing, and storey editing the Nickelodeon animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. He was born in the Vermont town of Shelburne. Bryan Konietzko, with whom he co-created Avatar, was his professor at the Rhode Island School of Design.
